Victims

Victims of the earthquake , of magnitude 7.8, which hit southern Turkey and northern Syria last night. According to what emerged, in fact, there would be over three thousand deaths, around 11 thousand injured and hundreds missing. Among these, in the last few hours, also the Hatayspor (and former Chelsea) footballer Christian Atsu , found alive in the evening under the rubble.

Atsu found

After hours of incessant searching, Christian Atsu was found under the rubble , where he had been trapped for several hours. Taken to hospital, the 31-year-old Ghanaian was hospitalized due to breathing difficulties and several injuries to his right foot. This was reported by the Portuguese sports newspaper A Bola .

Friends found again

According to what emerged, teammates Onur Ergun and Burak Oksuz were also found. Furthermore, the Portuguese goalkeeper Ruben Riberiro and the Cape Verdean striker Zé Luis would also have been traced. Among the victims of the earthquake , however, is the 28-year-old Turkish Eyup Turkaslan , goalkeeper of Malatyaspor , found lifeless under the rubble.
